Tonight’s MTB4 concert “postponed”
It’s amazing how promoters will make a big deal out of concert announcements, then completely clam up when things take an unfortunate turn.
Tihati Productions, the promoters behind tonight’s scheduled concert by Danity Kane, Day26 and Donnie Klang, apparently decided earlier this week to “postpone” the show, citing “unforseen circumstances.” Refunds are available now at the same point of purchase where tickets were originally bought.
But did Tihati send out a press release, or call any of the media outlets who provided coverage over the last few weeks?
Nope.
Tihati reps were unavailable for comment today, so I can’t tell you if it really was a scheduling conflict that caused them to pull the plug.
Or could it be that ticket sales were too slow, and they knew money would end up being lost?
I don’t know, because nobody from Tihati will call me back. And if I had to bet on it, my money would be on this show never actually being rescheduled.
I also didn’t hear back from one of the promoters tied into the party where Klang was supposed to guest host after tonight’s concert. I assume he won’t be there, either.

i would guess that tix sales were slow too. if you look on their ticketmaster site, several concerts around the US were cancelled too. i was bummed i wasn’t going to be in hawaii for this, but i guess not anymore. oh well. thx for the updates!

How about MOST, then? lol
Just kidding, Mr. Miller.
You’re right; there are SOME promoters who do an excellent job communicating with their customers and the media.
Thanks for the heads up on the Quints. Good promoters always find a way to mention their shows! ahahaha

There is something else on the matter as well actually, from what I heard the label didn’t have any thing scheduled for Danity Kane coming to Hawaii.

Hey, Uhh I was wondering if it was really postponed?
Because People like me around the islands. Can’t just pull a plane ticket out of our you know whats.
People Like diddy . or whatever who’s in charge should make sure of it. Because hawaii isnt just a place where we all can drive. Air Fairs are high now and now they need to understand that. I paid almost 300 hundred dollars. to see them and then cancled? i know refunds but i wont get the refund for my ticket. as much as i love danity kane. I dont understand. Thanks for your infromation though.
