As I first reported on Aug. 8, the new Senor Frog’s in the renovated Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center will hold its grand opening party Wednesday from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The evening will double as a fundraiser for Hawaii Meals on Wheels, with all proceeds from the $25 tickets going to the local non-profit organization. Vaihi and Ooklah the Moc will perform at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., respectively, with Duane “Dog” Chapman making an appearance at 8 p.m.
And even though the official party wraps up at midnight, you can count on Senor Frog’s taking advantage of its cabaret liquor license to keep things raging until 4 a.m.
Call 218-5546 or e-mail ikaikacomm [at] hawaii [dot] rr [dot] com to purchase tickets in advance, or press your luck and just show up.
Also, keep an eye out for a story about Senor Frog’s in an upcoming issue of HiLife in the Thursday afternoon and Friday morning editions of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
